If you’re going to have your birthday party in a restaurant or play space, I always take the time in advance to make sure that the room is set up optimally for a performance.

If you’re going to have an outdoor birthday party, it’s always wise to have an indoor alternative in case of rain. Rain dates aren’t a great backup plan as I’ve seen it rain on these days, as well. Also, permits are usually required to perform in parks and other public outdoor locations.
